Odar Firn was a male who worked as an executive in Sienar Fleet Systems, having joined the company during the Clone Wars after Sienar had secured a contract for the manufacture of starfighters for the Galactic Republic. After the creation of the Galactic Empire and Imperial Navy, Sienar's contracts grew significantly. Firn worked as a logistics specialist and focused on inventory management, thus was responsible for confirming that Sienar Fleet Systems had the necessary raw materials delivered to their vast manufacturing centers on time to keep the factories operating. Firn worked in offices on Coruscant, allowing him to effectively coordinate new orders placed by Imperial officers.[1]

Odar Firn was first mentioned in Dawn of Rebellion, a roleplaying sourcebook that is based on Star Wars Rebels and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The canon book was published in 2018 by Fantasy Flight Games and was authored by John Dunn, Tom Sorenson, Sterling Hershey, Jonathan Julius, Keith Ryan Kappel, Tim Huckelberry, Jason Marker, and James M. Spahn.[1]
