Occupation protocols were a type of protocols implemented by B1-series battle droids tasked with occupation duties for the Confederacy of Independent Systems,[1] which fielded the B1 as its main infantry force.[2] Between 20 BBY and 19 BBY[3] during the Clone Wars between the Confederacy and Galactic Republic, B1 units, including one armed with a Radiation Cannon, operating under occupation protocols saw combat against a grouping of Republic clone troopers in a forested area.[1]
