O'kar A'ko was the leader of the Ravagers,[1] a notorious pirate gang on the planet Rishi,[2] in the years prior to the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Known as a vicious tyrant, A'ko was deposed in a near-bloodless mutiny led by the charismatic Ravager Ruugar, who succeeded A'ko as captain of the gang and led them for many years afterwards.[1]
