Nyall was a moff who served the Galactic Empire.[1] In 5 ABY,[2] officials representing the nascent New Republic formed a list of ranking Imperials they wished to have apprehended, on which Nyall was included. Not long after the list's formation, Nyall was captured by a team of New Republic operatives led by the pilot Norra Wexley. Afterward, the moff's name card was kept aboard the crew's starship, the Halo, alongside other cards of other Imperials their group had caught. Temmin Wexley, one of the team's members, remembered Nyall's capture when placing another name in their collection of cards.[1]
Behind the scenes
Nyall was mentioned in Aftermath: Life Debt, a 2016 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the second installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
