The Nune-class Imperial shuttle was a transport used by the new Galactic Empire as of 137 ABY.
Characteristics
Mingo Bovark's shuttle docked at the Wheel.
The Nune-class shuttle, standard in the Imperial Navy, is the successor to the Lambda-class shuttle of the Galactic Civil War. Much larger and more versatile than typical shuttles, it functions as a cargo hauler, troop dropship, or personal transport as needed. The Nune-class shuttle had a much larger capacity for cargo or people than previous Imperial shuttles such as the Lambda-class and Theta-class. It also kept the folding wings feature of those classes, but unlike its precursors it could land with its wings unfolded. When armed, Nune-class shuttles were equipped with turbolasers.[2]
Its modular interior allows quick reconfiguration, and Navy technicians are trained in its modification. While most are adaptable, some serve dedicated roles as luxury transports for Admirals, Moffs, and diplomats, often assigned to flagships or high-profile vessels. There was at least one variant of this model.[2]
History
Emperor Roan Fel used one such shuttle to reach Bastion.
Captain Mingo Bovark used another to travel from an Ardent-class fast frigate to the Wheel during negotiations with the Galactic Alliance Core Fleet.
Sith Lord Darth Azard kept a personal shuttle which was hijacked by Monia Gahan and Sigel Dare.
