Nu-skin

Nu-skin was a type of synthetic skin that was grown in a laboratory and could be applied via a brush. It was designed to look more natural over time. New Republic Defense Fleet Commander Kyrsta Agate had nu-skin on the right side of her face as part of her facial reconstruction following injuries sustained during the Liberation Day attack.^[1]

Nu-skin was similar to synthskin.^[2]
