Nol was a Human male who served the reconstituted Sith Empire as a member of the the Imperial Guard. During the Galactic War with the Galactic Republic, Commander Nol and a contingent of the Guard and other Imperial Forces was sent to the planet Belsavis on the orders of the Sith Emperor in order to combat the Dread Host, the enthralled forces of the rogue Dread Masters.^[1]

Commander Nol was added to the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic as part of Game Update 1.5, where he is part of the mission "Horror on Belsavis" that introduces Imperial players to Section X.^[1]
