New Republic Honor Guard

The New Republic Honor Guard was a military force appointed by the Combined Defense Forces of the New Republic to perform ceremonial duties to high ranking New Republic officials and dignitaries. Units were stationed aboard diplomatic ships and locations, including the Imperial Palace and locations visited by the Chief of State.

Members included Ssyrmik, Shreel, and Marcopius, and often attended the New Republic Fleet Academy.

The Guard was the succeeding unit of the Rebel Honor Guard, and possibly the Alliance Elite Guard, who preformed the same role for Alliance High Command members of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, during the Galactic Civil War.
