The New Cov asteroid field was an ice asteroid belt in the Churba system in the Mid Rim. During the Galactic War, Imperial starfighters tried to hide in the New Cov asteroid field and fortify their position with prototype mines, but they were stopped by Republic Navy forces.[1]
