The New Academy was a military school that was established by the New Republic in Hanna City, on the planet of Chandrila, in the early days of that new government. Some children, including a boy named Pade, who had initially been destined to attend the local Imperial Academy on Uyter, ended up joining the New Academy instead.[1]
