Neufie was the nickname given by Jacen Solo for his R9-series astromech droid. The droid was used in his StealthX starfighter during the height of the Swarm War.

Neuf is French for nine. A French-like language exists in a galaxy far, far away: According to Dave Filoni, George Lucas specifically requested Twi'leks featured in The Clone Wars all speak with French accents.[1]
