Neo-revivalist architecture was a style of architecture used by the time of the Imperial Era.[1] In 19 BBY,[2] the Imperial Senators Mon Mothma and Lud Marroi met to share a meal together in a diner on the planet Coruscant's 4643rd level. At one point, they decided to cease talking about political topics in favor of less serious topics, one of which was neo-revivalist architecture. However, Mothma mentally noted that neither of them knew much about the building style.[1]

Behind the scenes

Neo-revivalist architecture was mentioned in the 2025 novel Reign of the Empire: The Mask of Fear, written by Alexander Freed as the first installment of the Star Wars: Reign of the Empire trilogy.[1]

Therefore, the events of Edge of the Abyss must be set in 6 BBY, and the events of The Mask of Fear in 19 BBY.
