Nejaa Halcyon's lightsaber was a single silver-bladed lightsaber wielded by the Jedi Master Nejaa Halcyon, and later his grandson Corran Horn after he found it in the Galactic Museum on Coruscant.
History
Usage under Nejaa Halcyon
This lightsaber was created by Nejaa Halcyon as early as 60 BBY[1] and was used by him when he was assigned to protect the Intergalactic Communications Center on Praesitlyn from the Separatist Alliance in 22 BBY during the Clone Wars.[3] Later as a newly appointed Jedi General for the Grand Army of the Republic, Nejaa Halcyon used his lightsaber to fight alongside fellow Jedi Ylenic It'kla against the Anzati Dark Acolyte Nikkos Tyris on the planet Susevfi. It was during this battle that Nejaa was felled, and his lightsaber was recovered by Ylenic and placed within the Galactic Museum alongside a picture of him and his Padawan, Valin Halcyon, to memorialize the brave Jedi General.[4]
Usage under Corran Horn
Decades later in 7 ABY, Nejaa Halcyon's lightsaber was recovered by Corran Horn, Nejaa's grandson and ace pilot of Rogue Squadron. Corran happened upon the lightsaber after he escaped from the Lusankya prison and used a stolen luxury airspeeder to escape, which coincidentally took him to the Galactic Museum. After Luke Skywalker revealed that the lightsaber belonged to his grandfather, Corran was given permission to keep the lightsaber as a sign of his inheritance.[1]
From then on, Corran Horn used his grandfather's lightsaber during his many missions with Rogue Squadron, including the Bacta War[2] and the Ciutric Hegemony Campaign.[5] He also used his grandfather's lightsaber when he was recruited to join Luke Skywalker's academy in 12 ABY. He particularly used it when he participated in Kam Solusar's lightsaber training drills and in a sparring match against Luke Skywalker. However, not long after Corran left the Jedi Praxeum to rescue his kidnapped wife, Mirax Terrik Horn, he replaced Nejaa's lightsaber with a newly constructed lightsaber of his own that he fashioned on the planet Courkrus.[4]
