Neiya Chault was a Force-sensitive Human female supporter of the Galactic Republic during the Cold War. After Padawan Thoma went on a mission to investigate alien mercenaries that joined the Sith Empire, she asked a Republic spacer to search for the missing Jedi in the Mercenary Training Facility Barracks. The Republic spacer found Thoma dead, but retrieved a message he left for Neiya.[1]
In the message, Thoma revealed that Neiya was Force-sensitive and expressed his desire that his friend receive training from the Jedi Order. After seeing the holocron, Neiya agreed to honor his wish.[1]
