- "The den mother would like to speak with you now."
- ―Kiki Dorente, to a spacer
The Kiisa Kimotte was a Selonian Female who lived on Talus during the Galactic Civil War. She was the den mother of the Neetha Den.
Biography
- "The Askura deal was proposed by a den mate that precipitated the smugglers' exploitation of our den. It allowed a group of our mates to be taken prisoner and held as hostages to get us to mine for the smugglers. The fact that the smuggler told you it was fake, tells us that the deception was not the smugglers' alone, but also shared by one of our own. I would not worry yourself over this traitor's fate."
- ―The den mother, to a spacer
Kiisa Kimotte was the den mother of the Neetha Den. The den inhabited a cave near the city of Nashal, on the planet Talus of the Corellian system.[3] The sept Kiki Dorente served as her advisor.[4]

After the Battle of Yavin, a member of the den proposed a partnership with a group of Talusian smugglers based near the cave, the so named Askura deal. However, the deal was fake and the Selonians were soon exploited by the smugglers.[1] Several Selonians of the den were captured by the smugglers and kept as hostages in order to force the rest of the den into mining for them.[5] The situation generated anti-human sentiments among the Selonian population of Talus and hostile anti-human demonstrations erupted in the city of Nashal. Despite no act of violence against Humans was reported, the local police force and the Cluster World Relations agency issued a travel warning for Nashal. Corellia News Service thus attempted to contact Kiisa Kimotte to get her to comment on the anti-human demonstrations but the den mother refused to respond to the request.[2]

In 1 ABY,[6] the Corellian Security Force was aware of the situation but was unable to intervene in Selonians matters. Agent Taarna thus recruited an independent spacer in order to help the Seloninans without involving the CorSec.[5] The spacer met Kiki Dorente, advisor to the den mother, and the Seloninans accepted the assistance.[4] The spacer worked with Tika Sileste,[7] Ravi Thienta,[3] Lika Fimente[8] and Kiki Dorente in order to develop a strategy against the smugglers.[9] The spacer then attacked the Smuggler Base and, although the outsider achieved most of the objectives, the assault was only a partial success. The spacer defeated most of the smugglers, including their leader,[7] and crippled their ability to exploit the Selonians.[3] However, the spacer discovered that the captive Selonians had already been shipped to Ord Mantell and sold as slaves. The spacer also discovered that a traitor in the Selonian den intentionally helped the smugglers.[8] As the situation with the smugglers was solved, the spacer returned to the Selonian cave and was eventually introduced to the den mother. The spacer revealed that the Askura deal was fake and that a member of her Selonian mates betrayed the den. The matriarch promised that the traitor would be punished and rewarded the spacer for the assistance provided. The den mother also awarded the title of den mate to the spacer, a distinction that few non-Selonians received.[1]

- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
