The Nedgarr Bandits were a group of criminals based on the planet of Corellia during the Galactic Civil War. They were named after their leader, Trae Nedgarr, and had a hideout on the outskirts of Coronet City. After the Battle of Yavin, the Nedgarr Bandits used to vandalize and rob local farms, such as Pol Handerin's farm.^[1] In 1 ABY,^[2] Lieutenant Mack Jasper of the Corellian Security Force dispatched a recruit to help Pol Handerin and deal with the Nedgarr Bandits. The CorSec agent recovered stolen grain and killed Trae Nedgarr during the assault of the Nedgarr Bandits Hideout.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Nedgarr Bandits appeared in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,^[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.^[3]

The Nedgarr Bandits were added to the game with the release of the "Publish 25," a.k.a. the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.^[4] They were part of questline that featured the Rogue CorSec plot against the Diktat.^[1] This story arc was later slightly revamped with the release of the "Publish 27," on February 15, 2006,^[5] as the questline was integrated into the "Legacy Quest," the main questline in the game.^[1]
