Necil Sing was a Human female native to[1] the planet[3] Coruscant.[1] In 22 BBY,[4] she was a patron of the Outlander Club,[1] a nightclub and gambling hall in the Uscru Entertainment District of Coruscant,[5] during the night of the attempted assassination of Senator Padmé Amidala. After the assassin, bounty hunter Zam Wesell, ran into the club, Sing talked with a Human next to[6] a turbolift[3] when the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker entered searching for Wesell. The woman later walked past Skywalker when he surveyed the crowd.[6]
Sing had dark skin, brown eyes, and dark hair[1] worn up in a conical hairstyle. During her visit to the Outlander, she wore a dark outfit[6] and a beaded silver veil.[2]
Behind the scenes
Necil Sing first appeared in the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones,[6] which released on May 16, 2002.[7] The Outlander Club scenes including Sing, who was portrayed by uncredited extra,[6] were shot at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000.[8] The extra playing the character, in costume, introduced the ninth episode of the Episode II behind-the-scenes video series on location.[9] The episode, "In The Money," released on September 9, 2000.[10]
Sing was first identified in in an Episode II Depth Commentary available on StarWars.com that could be accessed through the DVD-ROM home release of Attack of the Clones[11] on November 12, 2002.[12] The character's name is anagram for "licensing."[2]
