The Nar Shaddaa Works Administration (NSWA) was an organization that operated on Nar Shaddaa by the time of the Cold War. In that time, Gord Madel worked at the office in the Duros Sector not far from Meridian Hall and was known to take bribes. The Sith Inquisitor Kallig, during their search to defeat Sith Lord Paladius, decided to create the illusion of a groundquake by having Madel detonate the pipes underneath the Meridian Complex in a demonstration of power to Palladius's followers.
