"The Empire will come in earnest, now. This doesn't fit Malora's pattern…she never bothered to disable enemy communications during her siege of Nantoon…"
―Jedi Master Gnost-Dural[1]

Nantoon was a location in the galaxy.[1] Some time before 3628 BBY,[2] the reconstituted Sith Empire led by Sith Lord and Dark Councilor Darth Malora besieged Nantoon. During the siege, Darth Malora didn't bother to disable the enemy communications, a fact that Jedi Master Gnost-Dural recalled during the Invasion of Ossus.[1]

Behind the scenes

Nantoon was first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends continuity in BioWare's 2011 massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic, specifically the[1] 2018[3] 5.10 Jedi Under Siege update to the 2016 Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion. Nantoon is only mentioned if the player's character, known in-universe as the Alliance Commander, is among the character classes originally aligned with the Republic.[1] Nantoon was originally introduced in the 2015 canon film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, the first installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy.[4]
