Nanta was a female shaman in the Ewok mythology who broke a curse that kept an entire village asleep. "Nanta" was a popular name for Ewok children,[1] such as a warrior[2] who fought and died in the Battle of Endor.[3]

Nanta was mentioned in the Galactic Campaign Guide, a 2003 supplement for Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game that was written by Peter Schweighofer and J.D. Wiker.[1]
