Nanotechs were microscopic droids that were used to quickly repair cracks and fissures in structures. Techno Union Foreman Wat Tambor fused nanotechnology with bioengineered fungi to create his Mazariyan citadel on Xagobah. When his fortress was besieged by the Republic, nanotechs were used to maintain the fortress's structural integrity during the assault. After many weeks the damage was too great for the nanotechs to keep up with and the structure began to crumble.
