Nano missiles,[1] also known as nano-missles,[2] were small projectile weapons, which were nearly indistinguishable from blaster bolts. Coupled with tracking technology,[1] such as an ion encumbrance system,[2] they were able to home in on enemy craft.[1] They were utilized by several types of starfighter used by the Republic.[2]

Vana Sage's Guardian Mantis was equipped with nano missiles, which were coupled with a shield disabling tracker for maximum effect.[1]
