Nakkis leaf was a poisonous plant, medicine from which was a crucial part of the Trandoshan ritual Shko-yagu. After fasting, a Trandoshan would drink Nakkis leaf medicine on an empty stomach, forcing the skin to molt, but also leaving them weakened from the leaf's poison. A Trandoshan named Veneb Drassk used the weakness to kill his rivals for the position of the Clan Speaker by the means of a Wookiee named Gwarror.[1]
