Na'Tala was a female who lived in Cloud City on Bespin in the year 3 ABY. She worked in Azure Den underground gambling spot and secretly she is a part of Joy Iya's movement. One day Elad Zhalto hired Isabalia to convince Na'Tala to return to his employ, in part by saying he would send his droid 3-76 if she did not agree; Isabalia knew sending 3-76 meant Na'Tala would be killed. She accepted the job and collected Na'Tala.[1]
Behind the scenes
Na'Tala first appeared in "Beyond the Clouds," a short story by Lilliam Rivera that was published in the 2020 anthology From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.[1] The character was initially revealed but not identified in a promotional tweet from Del Rey's account for Star Wars books.[2]
