The NR-S3 droid[2] was a model of repair droid,[1] also called a nurse droid,[3] which was similar in appearance to BB-series astromech droids, but was smaller in size. One of the model's benefit to repair bays was the ability to store small pieces needed for repairs in their heads and launch them out from within whenever required. The Resistance used such repair droids to aide in repairs on droids aboard the MC85 Star Cruiser Raddus.[1]
