NON units, also known as NONs, were a model of protocol droids used by senators and other officials of the Galactic Republic. Padmé Amidala was assigned one NON unit, NON-3, which was reprogrammed to attempt to lead her into a death trap, but was saved by Bail Organa. Other senators assigned NON units included Rush Clovis and Organa.[1]
