- ―NE-034 interrogates a woman on Nar Shaddaa
NE-034, nicknamed "Neo," was a[3] human[2] stormtrooper who served the Galactic Empire as a commander and second-in-command of a contingent of troopers.[3] In 4 ABY,[1] after her captain was called away on special assignment, Neo commanded the unit as it was deployed to the moon Nar Shaddaa for recon. During their assignment, the unit received orders to locate a human woman. Wearing stormtrooper armor and armed with a blaster, Neo interrogated her for information regarding Rebel Alliance members Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Leia Organa. As Neo intimidated the woman, the trooper "Riz" insisted she offer the woman immunity to make her cooperate. As Neo began to reply, she was killed by the woman, who had grabbed Riz's blaster and shot Neo in the chest. Following Neo's death, which Riz blamed herself for, the unit was reassigned to the Forest Moon of Endor and Riz became partly disillusioned with the Empire and her service in it.[3]
