The "face" of N'Grid
N'Grid Interviews is an electronic entertainment device that features a voice-activated computer persona known as N'Grid. The program speaks to users in various languages, and creates a psychological profile after a brief question and answer period. N'Grid's face is portrayed on a screen by moving horizontal lines. Several of these devices were located in Astroport Interstellar Services at a Star Tours spaceport.[1]
Behind the scenes
Real N'Grid Interviews devices were found at the Astroport Interstellar Services arcade area, located after the exit of the original Star Tours ride at Disneyland Paris from 1993 to 2005.[2] Some online sources refer to the game as the "Orakel" or "Oracle" but that does not appear to be the official name, which was revealed in a 1993 press kit[3] and an article from the French video game magazine Tilt.[4]
