- "What else was I suppose to do? I meditate, then I saber train, then I meditate, then I study. Then I sleep, which somehow doesn't count as meditation. Then I sit by a window—if I'm lucky enough to be doing something slow and quiet in a room that actually has a window—and watch everyone else in this whole city of a planet zipping around in their speeders, and cruisers, and transports and actually going places and doing things."
"I hear the Music Chamber Ensemble has an open chair, if you'd like to take up the f'nonc." - ―Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi
The Music Chamber Ensemble was a musical ensemble within the Jedi Order active in the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant during the reign of the Galactic Republic.[1] In 29 BBY,[2] the ensemble had an open chair for a f'nonc player that Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi dryly suggested that his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, might fill after Skywalker complained about his frustrations with his uneventful routine within the temple. Skywalker took the suggestion as Kenobi attempting to keep the mood of the conversation light.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Music Chamber Ensemble was mentioned in Padawan's Pride, a 2024 audio book written by Bryan Q. Miller.[1]
