Murra-leather was a type of leather made from the hide of the murra,[1] a type of horned creature.[2] The haulcraft pilot Trowee Astur wore a pair of brown murra-leather boots while in Point Ueda, the capital of the planet Ueda,[1] in 132 BBY.[3]
Behind the scenes
Murra-leather first appeared in "Lost / Found,"[4] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[5] Prior to the release of the episode, the leather was revealed in a trailer exclusively shown at Celebration Europe[6] during the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase on April 7, 2023.[7] It was then identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
