Muntanye was a captain in the Republic Military who served under Supreme Commander Jace Malcom during the Conquest of Makeb. Muntannye reported to the Supreme Commander on the status of refugee caravan 47-B, codenamed "Whiteraft," which unbeknownst to the Republic had been stopped by the reconstituted Sith Empire in order to acquire several scientists from the caravan.[1]
