The Municipal Utility District was a utility district in the planet Taris's planet-city before the destruction of Taris during the Jedi Civil War. In the aftermath of the planet's bombardment, the Municipal Utility District collapsed. During the Taris Resettlement Initiative, it became part of the area known as the Republic Resettlement Zone. During this time it was infested with rakghouls.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Municipal Utility District appears on Taris in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game released by BioWare in 2011.[1]
