"The boy worries me. He carries too much anger."
"No. It is not anger but fear."
―Another Jedi and Moru, on Toul — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)[1]

Moru was a Britarro Jedi Master.[1] At some point by 1032 BBY,[3] Moru served on a warship during a war between the Force-sensitive Jedi of the Jedi Order and the dark side Force-users of the Sith. Upon the Jedi Padawan Toul being assigned to a mission to travel to the planet Dolgarak, Moru fetched him from his current training session. While Toul left the room, Toul's partner expressed[1] his[2] worries about Toul having too much anger, only for Moru to disagree, saying it was actually fear that Toul was struggling with.[1]

As a Jedi Master, Moru was Force-sensitive and wore traditional Jedi apparel of tan robes and brown boots. They also had blue skin, green eyes, and wore dark gray[1] cybernetic headgear.[2]

Behind the scenes

Moru appeared in "Journey to the Dark Head," a non-canon short film released as part of the second volume of the Star Wars: Visions series. The animated short, produced by Studio Mir, was released on Disney+[1] on May 4, 2023.[4] They were voiced by Lee So Young in the Korean voice cast and Judy Alice Lee in the English voice cast. While not named in the episode, the credits identified them as Master Moru.[1]
