The Moog-3000 Death Synthesizer,[3] also known simply as the Trade Federation cannon,[2] was a model of double-barreled repeating blaster used by the Trade Federation in the year 32 BBY[4] during the Invasion of Naboo. They were mounted on tri-pods, and have a small targeting computer on top.[1] They have a long-range and possess strong firepower. They were placed throughout the city of Theed on Naboo.[2] On multiple occasions during the invasion, cannons were taken over by the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and turned against the Trade Federation B1-series battle droid army.[1]
