The Mongo Beefhead Tribesman was a member of the nearly-extinct Mongo Beefhead Tribe from Tatooine.[1] The tribesman, like the rest of the group, supported the Rebel Alliance.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Mongo Beefhead Tribesman was a prototype action figure envisioned by Kenner for the canceled 1986 toy line, The Epic Continues. Kenner's designers created the figure by taking the head of a "Squid Head" (Quarren) action figure, cutting off its neck, and turning it to face the front.[1] The head was then combined with the torso of a Squid Head figure, the arms from a "Hammer Head" (Ithorian), and the chest pack from a 4-LOM figure.[2]
