Moldy Crow was a HWK-290 light freighter,[2] a model of light freighter manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation.[1] Valued at 5,000 credits, the freighter was armed with an anti-personnel blaster turret[3] and was connected with the Alliance to Restore the Republic.[2]

Behind the scenes

The ship was introduced in the new Star Wars canon in the 2019 board game Star Wars: Outer Rim as a ship that could be purchased by players as an upgrade from their starting ship.[3] The ship was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity as the transport of Kyle Katarn, the playable character of Star Wars: Dark Forces, a first-person shooter video game developed by LucasArts and released in 1995.[4]
