Mogark owed a favor to Alys Ongwa (pictured), which she wanted to collect during a battle against the Nihil.
Mogark was an individual who lived in the Core Worlds planet Corellia's capital city—Coronet City—during the High Republic Era.[1] By 230 BBY,[2] Mogark owed a favor to Alys Ongwa, a Corellian who ran the Supreme Coronet City Diplomat Protection business, which meant that she had Mogark's contact information saved within a list.[1]
That year,[2] Ongwa, her crew, and several Jedi fought against the Nihil pirates at Corellia's shipyards. In an attempt to prevent Corellia from falling to the pirates, Ongwa sent out a message across Coronet City, in which she called out the favor that Mogark owed her. Ongwa told Mogark she was collecting it and appealed to them to make their way to the shipyards and save Corellia. The Nihil forces were ultimately defeated.[1]

Mogark was mentioned in the 2022 young-adult novel The High Republic: Midnight Horizon, written by Daniel José Older and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[3]
