Mo Beatty, formerly known as Marisa Persson, is an actress, voice actor, writer, and producer who voiced the character M1-RE "Miree" for the animated webseries Star Wars Galactic Pals. She wasn't credited in the episodes, but Beatty revealed she voiced Miree on her Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. Miree said she was very stoked to voice a droid in a Star Wars project and she said it was a dream come true.

Biography

Marisa Persson was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, where she started her carer as a child actress booking over 30 commercials, voice overs, and print advertisements. Persson studied theatre and communications with an emphasis in interpersonal at Concordia University Irvine. Beatty is married to Mikie Beatty. She is now known as Mo Beatty.[1]

On March 10, 2022, on her Facebook[4] and Instagram accounts, Beatty revealed that last week, she finished recording an animated series that she was excited to share with the Internet. She said that recording for the series taught her that the risk she should take with her art is amusing herself.[5] The animated webseries Star Wars Galactic Pals started streaming on April 12, 2022 on StarWarsKids.com and the Star Wars Kids Youtube Channel.[6] On April 16, on Facebook, Beatty revealed that she voiced the character M1-RE "Miree" in the series. She said that voicing Miree was a dream come true, and she was very happy that she got to voice Miree.[7] On April 17, on Twitter, Beatty said that she was very stoked to officially be a droid in Star Wars.[2] On April 18, Beatty repeated this news on Instagram.[3] Beatty was not credited in the episodes.[8] On April 25, Beatty advertised the third and fourth episodes, "Jawa" and "Rodian," on Twitter.[9] On May 5, on Facebook, Beatty said that "Huttlet" was her favorite episode of Galactic Pals.[10]
