The Mk IX Personal Mimetic Concealment Suit was a type of mimetic suit manufactured by Cyricept. It used active stealth technologies combined with advanced textiles, and an optical camouflage system combined with electromagnetic and heat shielding, sound bafflers, and other stealth systems, to render its user almost invisible to both sensors and other individuals. The Mk IX was illegal to own and to sell to civilians, and required a small, high-output energy cell to run all of its systems. The suit cost 8,000 credits on the market and was primarily used by law enforcement agencies, governmental intelligence, and some criminals.[1]

The Mk IX Personal Mimetic Concealment Suit was first mentioned in Cyphers and Masks,[1] a 2018 sourcebook for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game published by Fantasy Flight Games.[2]
