By 232 BBY,[2] during the High Republic Era, Jedi Padawan Orla Jareni of the Jedi Order traveled on a mission to a world known for its sculpture, which Jareni noted was 'beautifully realistic.' During the mission, the Padawan saw statues crafted from a native stone that appeared to have softness, texture, and spirit.[1]

In 230 BBY,[2] after she discovered the husked body of Jedi Knight Regald Coll on the Galactic Republic space station Starlight Beacon, Jareni[1]—by then a Jedi Master[2]—mentally recalled her mission to the world. She then noted that Coll's features had been preserved so immaculately that he could have been one of the statues she had seen during the mission.[1]

Behind the scenes

The mission was mentioned in the 2022 novel The High Republic: The Fallen Star, written by Claudia Gray as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[3]

As Jareni is a Jedi Master during the events of The High Republic: Into the Dark, which take place in 232 BBY according to Timelines, the mission must have taken place by that year.
