During the New Republic Era, the First Order warlord Kylo Ren undertook a mission to Pillio to learn where Lor San Tekka had taken the map to Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. After Ren left Pillio, Del Meeko was confronted by Gideon Hask, now a First Order officer, who mocked his former comrade before executing him at point-blank range. He ordered Gleb and the Jinata Security to bury the bodies of Meeko and his crew, but to leave the Corvus alone in a bid to draw out Iden Versio.^[2]
