Misette grew up in the undercity of Sparth. There she learned about the oppressive ways of the First Order. She would later leave and eventually join the Resistance where she carried out undercover missions. Eventually she recruited the smuggling crew of the Wyvern to take her from the ice moon of Tarolax to the an abandoned monitoring station on Quellus. However during the trip she fell in love with one of the crew, a man named Barbas. Barbas overhead his crew mates plans to sell Misette to the First Order and in an effort to protect her would release a Karlox on the crew. However due to poor communication on his part, Misette was also attacked and killed by the Karlox on the journey.[1]

As The Force Awakens also depicts the destruction of Takodana Castle, the events of "Bakurat" takes place between these two years.
