Mini-droids were miniature versions of droids, particularly astromech droids, that could be sold for a relatively high price on Batuu by 34 ABY. Specifically, they were usually either BB-Series, or R2 Series. They were created by Mubo, and were prototypes for a real line that would be sold at Mubo's Droid Depot.[1]
Behind the scenes
Mini-droids first appeared in Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge. The game described them as "Prototypes of a new line of mini-droids Mubo plans to sell at the Depot. Return them to the salvage tube of mumbo's Workshop and collect the reward.[1]
