Millipod

Millipods were a species of giant insect native to the planet Kubindi.[1] The insects' shells were fire-red in color and they dwelt in the swamps of their homeworld, where they were raised as a food source by the indigenous sentient Kubaz species.[2] When the bounty hunter Dengar traveled to Kubindi in the year 0 ABY, he saw millipods wallowing in a bog as he flew above the surface of the planet in his JumpMaster 5000 starship, Punishing One.[1]

Behind the scenes

Millipods first appeared in Star Wars Missions 6: The Search for Grubba the Hutt, a 1998 novel written by Dave Wolverton as part of the Star Wars Missions series.[1]
