Miko was a planet located in the Sorella system.[2]

History

It was part of the territory of Moff Delurin. It was also the Mikoan homeworld. The Mikoans rebelled against the Empire and were subjugated by Delurin using the Galaxy Dragon to bombard their planet with turbolasers and concussion missiles until the they begged for peace. Some time after the death of Emperor Palpatine, a team of New Republic diplomats approached the planet to convince them to join the Republic. Unfortunately, Warlord Delurin appeared in the Dragon, once again threatening to use force. Some of the diplomatic team stayed on the planet to convince the Mikoans to rebel, while others left the system to gain military help. After this, the planet joined the New Republic.
