Middish Sunblade was a male individual[1] who lived during the galactic Cold War, around the time of a duel that occurred on the planet Odacer-Faustin.[2]

"The first draft of the novel contained a character named Middish Sunblade, modeled after Holden Caulfield, but Sunblade was removed from the rewrite because he was whiny and nobody could stand him."

Middish Sunblade was created by author Joe Schreiber for his 2010 novel Red Harvest. Schreiber modeled the character after Holden Caulfield, the protagonist of J. D. Salinger's 1951 novel The Catcher in the Rye. However, he cut Sunblade from the final draft of the novel, as he found him to be a whiny character whom the other characters could not stand.[1]
