Microtractor-beam generators were Ssi-ruuk technology used to immobilize and incapacitate enemy prisoners. Fitted in the secondary landing bays of Sh'ner-class planetary assault carriers, the microtractor-beam generators were used alongside stun traps and heavy gravity-conductive nets to subdue the crews when enemy vessels were captured in combat.[1]
