A microdot homing beacon was a tiny homing beacon that was deployed by moon moth espionage droids. A moon moth carried six of the beacons in its "abdomen", and the beacons were deployed when the moon moth landed on a target. Each beacon had a coded hyperwave signal that could be detected from parsecs away.[1]
