The Micro Machines Epic Collections toyline was part of the Micro Machines line manufactured by Galoob. The line was composed of figures and vehicles from the Expanded Univers novels published by Bantam Spectra, with the packaging made to look similar to a book, with a panel opening on a window box displaying the toys. The inner part of the panel featured a summary of the novel. In total there was six different Epic Collections, respectively based on Heir to the Empire, Jedi Search, The Truce at Bakura, Dark Apprentice, Dark Force Rising and The Courtship of Princess Leia.[1]
