Micro-fuses were small metal cylinders that were uses in cybernetic components on the planet At Attin. The youngling KB's augs used a mirco-fuse in a resonator housing in her head. While on the planet Lanupa, KB lost mobility due to her micro-fuse being corroded by the steam at the mud pits at the Skull Ridge Mountain Hotel & Spa. Given enough time, she would have become completely paralyzed and died. In order to prevent this, Wim agreed to help her. KB instructed him on how to make a new micro-fuse by melting droid servomotor wires in a cup with a torch. Wim poured the melted metal into a form to create the new micro-fuse and installed it back into the resonator housing in her head preventing total system shutdown.[1]

Mirco-fuses first appeared in "Zero Friends Again," the sixth episode of the live–action Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew which was released on December 31, 2024.[1]
